Return & Refund Policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after you receive your jewelry to request a return. 

121-21 of the Consumer Code (Amended by Law No. 2014-1545 of 20 December 2014 art 54) and Article L121-21-3
Law N° 2014-344 of March 17, 2014 Art 9 (V)

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it:

• probably tried but unworn or unused, with tags.
• in its original packaging.
• invoice of the purchase that was delivered to you in the package.

In case the conditions above are not respected, we will contact you. If we do not receive any answers from you, we will have to refuse this return.

The shipping costs are charged to the customer.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items

• Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as special orders or personalised items. 

 

Damages and issues

• Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exchanges

• The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

 

Return & Refunds

• We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

Warranty Terms

Knowing that the pearl products are handmade, a 1 year warranty applies against manufacturing defects. Please note that :

• Within 6 months of purchase (Subject to the date when parcel is delivered) such as non-human causes degumming, pearl cracking, we will send you a return label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Jewelry can be returned free of charge for repair or replacement with the same quality of pearls.

• 6 months to 1 year after purchase (Subject to the date when parcel is delivered) if there is non-human caused degumming or pearl cracking, we will send you a return label and instructions on how and where to send it, but it will cost you the basic price to repair the pearls or accessories.

Within one year from the date of your purchase, pearl necklaces can be replaced with free thread and length changes

• 1 year after purchase: Shipping costs and repairing costs ( pearls/accessories + labor costs) will be charged to the buyer.

Characteristics of Pearls

Type: 

• Tissue Nucleated Freshwater Pearl: Do not contain bead nuclei and are only composed of nacre
• Bead Nucleated Freshwater Pearl : Many modern big freshwater pearls (brands Edison) as well as fancy baroque shapes such as clover or hearts
• Saltwater Pearl：Tahitian and south sea pearls, Akoya pearls

Lustre: 

• Excellent, Outstanding lustre, deep mirror-like and clarity
• Brilliant, Nice sharp and clean reflection
• Very Bright, Nice and good reflection
• Bright, Nice light reflection, reflection image slightly fuzzy
• Pale, Reflections are faint, not vivid and foggy, cloudy
• Poor, Reflections are weak, dull and diffuse

Shape: 

• Perfectly round : Completely spherical without flat parts or notches
• Round : Variation of diameter being no more than 2%
• Slightly Off-round : Practically round to the naked eye
• Near round : Slightly semi-round, elongated, or flattened.
• Oval/Rice : Egg-shaped, slightly rounded and oblong.
• Button : Symmetrical, flattened on one side
• Drop : Rounded pear shape.
• Semi-baroque : Slightly oval, irregular. Button or drop shape.
• Baroque : Quite capricious and asymmetrical shapes.
• Demi-perles : Hemispherical pearls glued to the shell, such as Mabe pearl

 

Surface: 

• Clean (Perfect to Almost Perfect)

1. Perfect : No defects, smooth and clean surface, but they might have textured surface due to their layered nacre structure.

2. Almost Perfect : The surface has some winkles, small pits, smooth overall, not noticeable if you don't look closely

• Slight imperfections (Very Slight to Slight Imperfections) Wrinkles or pinholes and small bumps on the surface, which are not obvious when worn and are not visible from a social distance

• Moderate imperfections: Shows visible defects on the surface.
• Heavy imperfections: Obvious defects on the surface of the beads. the durabilities could be affected.
